Inn Policies  


To receive the best available rate, we recommend booking directly through our website or over the phone. We may require a 2-night minimum stay during the “peak season” of May-September, and during special local events, though we may occasionally consider exceptions. Call us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your travel schedule!


Whole House Rentals and Corporate / Business Travel rates with discounts are available.  Please contact us to discuss arrangements and reserve your stay.


Reservations with three or more rooms require 50% Non-Refundable Deposit of the full stay and a 30 day Cancellation Notice.

Non-Refundable Reservations
As this room was received at a discounted rate, we recommend all guests reserving non-refundable rates to purchase Travelers Insurance safeguarding against unforeseeable circumstances.  

Refundable Reservations                                                                                                                                          Cancellations should be processed through the booking site where the reservation was made. In the event that a Cancellation is requested 7 or more days prior to Check-In, a full refund may be provided for a $20 Cancellation Fee.  

Cancellations requested less than 7 days and up to 48 hours of Check-In, may be offered a free date change for any time within the calendar year.

Cancellations requested within 48 hours of Check-In forfeit the Deposit. 

USS Badger Car Ferry
Please inform Inn Keeper prior to arrival if traveling on the Badger so we may accommodate Check-In after 7pm and Check-Out prior to 8am.

Guests seeking transportation from the Badger to The Inn at Ludington, are recommended  to contact a local taxi company.


Children are welcome! Please be sure to let us know that a child is coming so we can ensure proper bedding is prepared in your room.


Pets are welcome in our standard full room for an additional pet fee of $15. Pets must follow the same polite noise requests of all of our guests. Ensuring an enjoyable stay for everyone. Special considerations may be made for small hypoallergenic dogs.


There is no smoking inside the Inn. There is a beautiful garden in the back with plenty of seating to enjoy.
